spent in the Pont de Gau Ornithological Park. You'll then discover
on foot the Natural Environment of the Camargue.
You can then observe most of the species of birds either living in,
or migrating through the Camargue.
-
Visit
and a typical Camargue Lunch in a "Manade" (black
bulls and horses breeding, herding together).
-
You'll
begin the afternoon by visiting the small village of the Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer,
famous
for the Gipsies' Pilgrimage twice a year and for its church
consecrated to the black virgin.
-
On
our way back home, we'll stop in Arles, and linger about this
town full of Roman remains. Its big open-air Theater attracts
visitors. It was Vincent van Gogh's favourite town !
