Detailed description

  • On our way to Sault, Kingdom of Lavender, we'll stop at Lagarde d'Apt to visit a genuine Lavender Distillery (harvest and distillation of lavender July 20th and August 15th).

  • We'll carry on towards Sault along a winding road lined with big Lavander fields (lavender fields in bloom : mid june-mid july).

  • Free time in Sault* to have lunch and time for purchasing some of the various local products (nougat, honey, lavender, spelt...)

  • Afternoon guided visit of the Lavander Garden (collection of over 160 varieties of lavender) and of  Monieux a picturesque village.

  • The Nesque River Canyons, the prehistorical cradle of the Vaucluse county will be the last stage of this tour (the steep canyons offer beautiful scenery).

    * the church, the ruins of the castle, the ramparts are worth seeing.
