Detailed description

  • Morning devoted to the discovery of the site and of the Fontaine-de-Vaucluse village, made famous by Petrarch and by one of the most spectacular re-emergences in the world !

  • Free time for having lunch by the river-side.

  • A few miles away, in the afternoon, we'll visit L'Isle sur la Sorgue, considered as the "Comtat Venaissin Venice". It's full of charm and houses plenty of Antiquarians.

  • You'll then be driven on to the underground world of the Thouzon Caves. In late afternoon, we'll stop in Pernes-les-Fontaines, called the "Pearl of the Comtat", worth visiting for its 40 fountains and period houses.
